Well, hi there. I’m Theresa, the maker/designer behind Teagan and Lu. Thanks for stopping by my site. Here, I hope to offer free patterns, tutorials and maybe even some guest posts from friends in the yarn community. But first, I’ll tell you a bit about me:
Like so many of the great people I have met in the yarn community, I learned how to knit and crochet as a child. It was always a skill I kept “in my back pocket.” I kept a yarn stash, but only used it periodically. But, it was still something I was known for among my family and friends. Could Therese make it? Probably. I never shied away from a difficult pattern, and friends and family always appreciated my handmade gifts.
However, it wasn’t until recently that I have been an everyday knitter and crocheter. I began Teagan and Lu on a whim in Late November, 2017. I got an inkling that I could do more with my crafts after attending The Farmstead Fair in August, and was– pardon the pun– hooked.
Since then, I have self published some patterns, sell at a few local boutiques and am excited to engage more fully in the crafting community with this website.
Welcome and nice to meet you! Let’s do some crafting together!
